Adelphi University Presents: Axiom Brass "Limitless"

  • Adelphi University, Westermann Stage, Concert Hall 1 South Avenue Garden City, NY 11530 (map)

Go on a journey through space and time with the award-winning Axiom Brass Quintet as they present Limitless at Adelphi’s Performing Arts Center (PAC) on Friday, March 22. You will explore the connections between the vastness of the universe and our significance in today’s world. This show features visuals created by astronomer Kyle Kremer, original soundtrack by Matthew Fuerst and James Stephenson, and compositions by J.S. Bach, Anthony Plog and Anthony DiLorenzo.

This concert marks Axiom Brass’s third appearance at Adelphi. In addition to their main stage concert on March 22, during this year’s residency with the Adelphi University Department of Music, Axiom Brass will offer student composers feedback on works written for their instrumentation of 2 trumpets, French horn, trombone, and tuba. The ensemble will also perform a fragment of Limitless at the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Garden City for invited students from Freeport schools.
